'POWER' MURAL TOBACCO FACTOPRY BRISTOL

It was the Tobacco Factory’s 25th Birthday, the place that gave me my first ever wall to paint and the place where I have run a paint Jam for the last 4 years, I love these guys!

To celebrate they asked Upfest to arrange a paint jam and they kindly invited me. I wanted to expand on the powerful women series I have been doing recently, but with this one I wanted to take it more comic book than before.

'Power' is a pop cultur mash up warrior women with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mask, a Star Wars light saber and pop culture lucky charms, Harry Potter, Buffy and Zelda... She is screaming and ready to fight. The text box reading: 'It was then she realised, no power on this Earth could stop her.'
