UPFEST 2017 - POP GIRL STREET ART

Painted live at the biggest street art festival in Europe, Upfest in Bristol. 'Pop Girl' is my modern day mash up my pop culture heroine. The idea being if my generation gets a call to arms we will arm ourselves with items from our pop upbringing, Inspired by Tank Girl, she wears a R2D2 helmet, armed with the Sword of Omen from Thundercats, with good luck charms from Harry Potter and The Legend of Zelda, she is ready to take on the world!

As always Upfest was amazing, the atmosphere, the sprit and the fun of Bristol make this the highlight of the year for me, even through the horrendous rain…  it gets better every year, roll on 2018!
